(video->) Vision Complex Orphanage and School in Tanzania now provides for over 70 orphans whose parents died from HIV/AIDS or other causes, kids with Sickle Cell Anemia (a genetic disorder that’s most prevalent in East Africa) whose parents have died or can’t afford to pay for medical care, and now some village kids. Simon John, the director, met Agape Restoration Society in their online “Morning Prayers” a few years ago, and since then ARS has been helping Vision Complex. See the Vision Complex Story, and see the photos below of the kids who need a sponsor. Also, write to Simon about visiting Vision Complex in Tanzania. Now, see the latest news:
May 23, 2026: (video->) The new classroom is now up to window-level! This work was started in May 2025, but has been held up due to lack of funds. Simon, the director of Vision Complex Orphanage and School in Tanzania, writes:“This building project needs $31,000 to complete all 4 classrooms. We build at a pace depending on how we receive the donations. Any of the amount we received we put to work. We have reached the window level. The next stage is to put the beam which will cost $2,200: the beam makes the building strong . After the beam we shall continue constructing the wall up to the last stage. We have stopped at the window level because our budget is now limited until we collect more funds, then we shall continue.”
